Putting Students and Families First
Saundra Davis brings independent thinking and practical, commonsense solutions to Fairfax County schools. She believes our children deserve leaders who put trust, transparency, and collaboration ahead of partisan politics and who focus on what truly matters: student success.
A proud mother of three adult children who all graduated from Fairfax County Public Schools, Saundra has called Fairfax County home for more than 14 years. Her deep roots in the community are matched by strong academic and professional experience. She earned an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Colorado State University and master’s degrees in Health Care Administration and Gerontology from the University of Southern California.
Saundra has built her career on responsible leadership and accountability. As director of a secure memory-care community, she balanced budgets while meeting the critical needs of vulnerable populations. She currently serves on the Virginia Public Guardian and Conservator Advisory Board, where she helps ensure ethical oversight and protection for individuals who can no longer care for themselves.
As a former candidate for the FCPS School Board At-Large, Saundra has consistently championed transparency, collaboration, and fiscal responsibility. She is deeply concerned about the rising school budget and its impact on taxpayers and is committed to making sure every dollar is spent wisely and effectively to support student learning.
Saundra will work across traditional lines to deliver real results for families in the Braddock District, prioritizing responsible management of resources while keeping students and families at the center of every decision.
